Learning Activity 2-2. Instant Messaging Chat Practice

This learning activity is a selected collection of links to Instant Messaging chat services that reference librarians can sign-up for use for chat practice. These require that you sign-up and provide some basic contact information. Once you have access to Instant Messaging you may contact the teacher at diane.kovacs@gmail.com (GTalk), SaintsMrsDi (AOL) or diane@kovacs.com (MSN or Yahoo chat) if you would like to say hello and practice communicating with your fingers. Multi-Chat client software allows you to receive and send Internet messages on more than one IM service at a time. The IM services are listed in alphabetical order.   Most of the Instant Messaging services are available for both Windows and Mac OS.
